MIRRI Flash Webinar on the 2nd Transnational Access (TNA) Call

In the framework of its Transnational Access (TNA) Programme, run under the IS_MIRRI21 project, MIRRI will be holding a webinar for researchers, startups and SMEs on why and how to apply to the 2nd TNA Call, which is open until 15 May 2022 and aims to providing free-of-charge access to a selection of high-quality microbial resources, services and facilities.

The live webinar will take place on 23 March 2022, between 11:30 and 12:30 CET. After a brief presentation outlining the goals of the IS_MIRRI21 TNA Programme, MIRRI’s Access Officer will explain everything potential applicants need to know about the call – eligibility criteria, application procedure, current TNA offer, modalities of access, etc. -, followed by a slot for Questions & Answers.

MIRRI and British Embassy Lisbon join to support life science and biotechnology researchers on taking innovations to market

MIRRI is pleased to announce that it has entered a new collaboration with the British Embassy Lisbon and it has launched today the Biotech Business Mentoring Support (BBMS) Programme. Resulting from a partnership between these two organisations, and counting on the technical expertise from a UK-based consultancy firm, this pilot programme intends to provide tailored support for life science and biotechnology researchers, implementing a mentorship scheme to cover crucial research-to-market topics.

MIRRI will take part in two more European projects to provide cutting-edge services for cancer research and for a sustainable agroecological transition

MIRRI is pleased to announce that it will be participating in the projects “canSERV – Providing cutting edge cancer research services across Europe” and “AgroServ – Integrated services supporting a sustainable agroecological transition”, both of which have been selected for funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme.

On 18 and 19 November 2021, MIRRI has held the webinars “Microbial resources for a green, healthy and sustainable future” and “Cutting-edge technologies for 2030 microbial Culture Collections”.

A total of 390 participants, including 30 speakers, have joined the several sessions, discussing the decade ahead on aplying microbial resources and cutting-edge technologies for research and innovation in Health & Food, Agro-Food and Environment & Energy.

MIRRI held two information and matchmaking events for Horizon Europe opportunities and MIRRI membership

On 15 and 17 June 2021, MIRRI has organized, under the IS_MIRRI21 project, two information and matchmaking events dedicated to Horizon Europe opportunities and MIRRI membership. The online events were organized in connection with the RI-VIS Latin America – Europe Symposium on Research Infrastructures, and with the collaboration of PERIN – Portugal in Europe Research and Innovation Network.
