Degree in Biological and Food Engineering from the School of Agriculture of the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco, Portugal. Master in Innovation and Quality in Food Production, and PhD student in Biochemistry from the University of Beira Interior (UBI). I develop research activity at the Biotech Plant Lab of Beira Interior (CBPBI) since 2016 in the areas of plant biotechnology, microbiology, and extraction and characterization of secondary metabolites in PAM. I supervised undergraduate works and taught practical classes at UBI for undergraduate and master's degrees. I have participated in national and international research projects, having also participated in national and international seminars and congresses, having published works distributed in magazines, books, and conference proceedings.
